Simple i don't want to be the "webmaster" of cloudsdale -.- i don't have the time and i cbf, making a poll on who you think should have it.

Them two Canterlot folk will pick anypony who isn't me or Bloomberg haha

Don't know if Scram has any webbing experience, but he honestly looks like a nice candidate in my opinion. Maybe I just like people who make logical arguments.

Why wasn't I informed of this? (Aside from the fact I haven't been on MSN for a while)

I would say Lovebutton, but I haven't seen much of him on here as of lately, so I dunno. Can I vote myself?

There are many downsides to hosting a forum on forumotion, but one of the positive aspects is that it doesn't require much experience with coding.

I'd like whoever takes it over to be open to the possibility of it moving somewhere else. This host will work, but it'd be nice to have the option of moving.

And you can remove me from that list. I'd not even be a mod if it weren't for the nsfw board. I'll protect that with my life, but that's about it.

And the rules need revised. They were bad on Canterlot and they're bad here. We only need 3. Don't be a spambot. Don't post viral links or nsfw(outside its boards and nsfw means actual porn or gore, not just the mention of it). Have fun. That's it.

The rest are guidelines not worthy of ruledom. Giving out warnings for double posting is like slapping someone in the face for refusing to hold out their pinkie while drinking tea. Called for, but not something you'd do in polite company.

I came up with them at 3 in the morning since LoveButton and D45H weren't going to do it I just made rules that would make people happy. I don't really care what the rules are as long as drama doesn't start

A good set of rules will help prevent that. Less rules, less bans, less drama.

Moving threads/posts is almost always preferable to locking threads and handing out warnings. Mods aren't there to keep regular users in line, they're there to clean up threads and keep spambots/trolls away.

Edit: Sorry for the derail. I'm not sure who all is qualified, so I'm not sure where to place my vote.

Actually, on that note, does anypony have any suggestions on where to host this forum? Me and D45H tried scouting out some options a couple of days ago, but they didn't seem very viable.

I'd prefer either: Not as many rules
More rules but have more elaborate detail.
To be honest, I like a long list of rules, but only if it makes sense. If it's just something someone put together so they have the right to ban people, hell no. Make it fun for all, not just some messed up mind game you plan on keeping.

I don't like rules that dictate post structure outside of boards and threads. And those rules only illicit edits and moves. I hate seeing stuff deleted.

Ha I wouldn't know the first thing to running a forum. But I like that fact that the webmaster thought to put me in this poll.

Anyways, I don't really know any of you all that well, (except Bloomberg) so I won't cast my vote.

Scram, i personally think that you would be a better webmaster than i, I lack the time and knowledge to be able to run a forum succesfully, 2nd in charge i can do but first? no way

Actually I think you'd be a good webmaster if you matured up a bit and lost your trollish ways. But I doubt thats going to happen so I voted for D45H to keep it. That or Lovebutton take over.
